ServiceMaster Commercial Cleaning by T & D was founded in 2020 by co-owners Tyler Hess and Dylan Basterash, whose diverse backgrounds and unique skill sets help elevate the customer experience to the next level.
Networking in the community is important to both Tyler and Dylan. Since opening the business, they have joined the local Chamber of Commerce and continue to support other small, local businesses in the area. In their spare time, Tyler and Dylan enjoy spending time with their families.
Tyler Hess, Owner & US Navy Veteran
Tyler Hess grew up in Allentown, PA. He attended Penn State University, enrolled in the Navy ROTC program, and graduated with a degree in Supply Chain Management. Following graduation, Tyler was stationed as an Engineering Officer in the Navy. In 2016 he left active-duty service to pursue a civilian career. Tyler worked with Nestle USA at both an ice cream manufacturing facility in Laurel, MD, and a coffee factory in Freehold, NJ. While with Nestle he held various roles including front-line management, engineering, and supply chain. During his time at Nestle, he also completed his MBA at Rutgers University.
After almost 5 years Tyler left corporate America to start his own business ventures. ServiceMaster opened its doors in the summer of 2020. We are a service-disabled, Veteran-owned company based in Neptune, NJ. In 2021, Tyler and his wife Elly also started another business, The Baked Bear which is a custom-made ice cream sandwich shop located in Long Branch, NJ. They also are the proud parents of their 2 daughters, Penny and Maggie and live in Shark River Hills alongside Dylan and his wife Ashley.

Joe Piroli brings a diverse background and skillset and has been our jack-of-all-trades handyman since day one! Joe was our first hire and the natural choice for the position of Operations Manager as our business grew. Joe is integral to running the day-to-day operations of the business.
